 There are a bewildering number of hosting plans available on the open market. We offer a limited number of hosting plans to our clients in order to try and remove the confusion about what one may, or may not, opt for and what “extras” may or may not be required. To this end the prices we state for our plans are not the cheapest available, but, then again, neither are they the most expensive available. We “roll-up” a range of hosting services into two basic packages which meet the great majority of business needs. Recall, also, that our main purpose is that of providing a single point of service and contact to meet our client’s business requirements. Basic Hosting Packages OverviewThere is a basic package for Linux hosting and one for ASP.NET hosting – these meet the majority of requirements. As a general rule where they do not, then the implication is that the client has a need of some sort of bespoke development. Therefore, we generally propose, where hosting is required with the required development, that these “extras” are incorporated into the cost of the development project. Consequently, whilst we give a few costs for hosting “extras” they can ordinarily be ignored for the majority of potential clients. Where such are required we will identify and cost them within the draft proposal and project plan for a service offering. Basic Hosting Administrative and End-User SupportThe basic package includes a certain level of ongoing administrative support by ourselves, according to our service level agreement, and also grants our clients access to our support system. We cannot guarantee 24 hour support but, our upstream providers do; with your account details we will include information about how, if the requirement for immediate support exists, you may, for general hosting problems, get directly in touch with our upstream providers. |
