![]() Our server support services are targeted at business users with hosted websites, databases and application servers. These range from straightforward site hosting of a vertical market application – such as e-Commerce or Property Sales – which require ongoing maintenance and administration, dedicated database applications with web server interfaces for thin clients through to the management of DNS zones and name servers for domain names. Our objective in offering these services is to be able to provide the business user with the ability of having all of their hosted IT services managed through a single point of contact via a scheduled maintenance and administration programme to maximise system and application up-time and integrity. These services allow the business user to concentrate on their business objectives rather than having to deal with IT issues that impact their business’ efficiency and profitability. As with all of our service offerings there are basic commonalities in the core requirements of these support services. However, every business is different – even within the same market business needs and requirements often differ. Additionally requirements change with the evolution of the business. Our standard service agreements for support are therefore not “rigid” – we recognise that in offering support services things may “happen” where support is required the nature of which is not within the stated scope of the agreement. Neither we nor our potential customers can waste time or effort in hammering out the minutiae of the scope of support and thereby attempt to identify and account for every possible requirement – even then, no-one is prescient. Consequently our service agreements are relatively straightforward and include a “Fair Use” policy – our intention is that of helping your business, rather than that of treating our clients as “suppliers”. |
